I keep reading these statements – often from Christian Facebook friends – that it’s just a matter of legality. Undocumented residents are Illegal Aliens – they broke the law coming here.
End of story – Bring on the uniformed removal agency. Build those prisons detention centers. Get’em out of society. Start the convoys south to Mexico – whether they are Mexican or not. Just get’em out of here.
I’m told that these people are worth-less and have no rights – to Hell with their children’s future. And if any USAmerican, white or otherwise, tries to get in the way, then arrest them too. Lock’em up! Make America White Great Again!
From these same people I hear that birthright citizenship is essentially unconstitutional – 14th Amendment notwithstanding. We’re given large figures for the cost of “illegals” in our country.
Does that include the right to a public education or any other citizen benefit that USAmerican children are receiving? Does it even consider the potential that these Hispanic-American children offer to our country? Children who (again that inconvenient 14th Amendment) are LEGAL UNITED STATES’ CITIZENS.
No, we are told. They are “anchor babies”, not real USAmericans. The fact of their presence is the result of illegal entry of prospective parents (many of whom first met after coming here). These young tainted citizens, we are told, should be forced out with their “illegal parents”, becoming a new class of refugees or else become a new class of orphans.
And if you are a white, evangelical, “Christian Nationalist”, so much the better. Profess your patriotism and do it all in the name of the Lord!
Really? I mean REALLY?
41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’
44 Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” – Jesus of Nazareth, as quoted in Matthew 25, NIV.
