Replace Obama the Prime Republican Directive…
MCCONNELL: We need to be honest with the public. This election is about them, not us. And we need to treat this election as the first step in retaking the government. We need to say to everyone on Election Day, “Those of you who helped make this a good day, you need to go out and help us finish the job.”
NATIONAL JOURNAL: What’s the job?MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.
I am an unaffiliated voter. According to the pundits, I and my kind elect Presidents. Simply because I am “Independent”, I would like to ask what otherwise would be an extremely ridiculous and equally naive question. Just who are we blindly overthrowing the current presidency for? One says, “for a Republican, of course.”
But I am an independent, unaffiliated, uncommitted voter. So for me that just won’t work. So Mr. McConnell, am I supposed to just assume that “you and yourn” have earned the right to just pick out someone at the right time?
Aren’t we a little premature here? And aren’t you really just demonstrating the same recalcitrance that we have had to endure everyday for two years. So Mr. McConnell, you don’t even have the Senate back. With all due respect, Sir — Get real and go to work!
